Designation :- Drilling Engineer Qualification:- B.E / B.Tech (Mandatory) Experience :- 10 – 28 Years Salary :- . 60,000 USD - 80,000 USD Per Annum Job Location:- Kuwait Position Type:- Permanent Basis Interview Month :- December,2009 Interview Location :- Mumbai / Delhi Performs a variety of drilling engineering functions with, the objective of planning details of specific drilling operation and/or rig work over operations and designing improvements in methods currently in use Undertakes from time to time Techno-Ecorromic studies rid analysis of selective projects related to driflirig, workover, completion, testing, & stimulation operations. Prepares the drilling, Workover, completion, testing & stimulation Procedures (I.e. technical, planning and specification) for each • tage to ensure the most efficient & safe methods of drilling operation and/or work over operations. Information relates to type of 1g. well planning, casing design, welihead design, mud programme, drilling bit programme and Hydraulics for each hole, design of ocation with details of cellar drill string assemblies blow out preveritor stack arrangements general cementation programme and general safety. Plán.s ri movements and prepares release of locations. Games out detailed cost analysis for each drilling operation and/or work over operations lnvolves working out details of equipment tools and materials requirement along with cost and contractor’s charges. Undertakes studios of special projects or characteristic problems as and when assigned and prepares different methods to handle/tackle the same together with technical details and time reschedule and cost estimate. Interprets certain selective electrical logs in iiàisön with Reservoir and Fields Day. Depts. which have direct application in the )esign and calculation of works related to drilling of wells and or workover operations. Conducts visits to rigs/well sites to ensure accurate implementation of drilling & workover procedures and discusses problems with drilling supervisor arid contractors requIting special attention as & when. required. Provides technical support to drilling upervisor in the safe conduct of certain typical and special operations. Assists in carrying out vendor short list and/or prequalification of service contractors. Liaisons with Contracts Team. to issue end users related to the service required for’Drilling & W/over Operations. Participates in technical/operational discussions with service contractors and tries to resolve outstanding issues, Ensures all arterials services are available and inline with: Drilling & W/over Operations plans. Liaises with. Purchasing. Department to order the required equipment and materials; carries out periodic inventories of KOC drilling equipment. I) Revises and updates standard technical procedures; arranges data collection, storage and its retrieval on computers and updates the formats to. Changing situations.) Performs’relate.cLduties such as preparing variety of reports and statistical data for management and for Government officials corn the Ministry of Energy, Initiating capital budget proposals and preparing detail cost estimates with phasing on yearly basis assisting in the preparation of revenue/expenditure budget AFEs Group Action Plan and processing various operational data with C; use of standard software WP, Database, Spread Sheet. and other’ related softwares and execution of long term plans.
