EDUCATION
Generally, the minimum educational entry requirement as a Consultant will be BA/BCOM/BSC.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Having good IT skills is an essential job requirement to work as a Consultant. Specifically, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, is increasingly mandatory to work in any office or administrative environment.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Having a good interpersonal skill is an absolute requirement if you must enjoy your job. Your foremost job is to always keep a calm courteous, friendly yet professional look and comportment at all times.
What is important is to recognize that these are important Consultant job requirements and to be willing to work towards cultivating these skills.
ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
Your organizational skills as a Consultant will be tested to the limit. You will be required to speak to customers, make presentations, communicate by email, keep a record of Students and visitors & respond to their queries make them feel comfortable at all times.
You must have an excellent prioritization and time management skill, as well as been able to multitask.


As a Consultant, you may be required to work as the office manager too.
Other additional requirements, to perform in this role include:

• Use of Projector & MFP Laser(photocopier, Printer & scanner)

• Good stress and anger management ability
Your Job Description;
As a consultant general, duties, roles, and responsibilities include:

• Consult with customers about their needs or their wants.
• Analyze the training requests received thru Telephones, emails or web inquiries and, then tailor it based on our recommendations.
• Provide skills to best fit their needs and expectations.
• Receive customer calls of requests for trainings followed by placement needs.
• Investigate what services the customer will need, even if they may not know what they need. Probing as to what they want and present what they feel they may need dependant on their needs and wants.
• Middle liaison between the Trainers and the students.
• Testing of new Services to increase revenue.
• Take initiatives to conduct update meetings with fellow team members regularly to discuss issues & concerns or achievements.
• Full responsibility of ensuring that the student is aware of what skills he/she is being trained, and understanding what is being delivered by the trainer.
• Provide customer service to trainers, fellow staff, and students and briefs about services, internal processes or controls.
• Depending on the flow of students, arrange external low cost venues for training and contact faculty to conduct trainings, whenever needed.
• Maintaining proper feedback records received by students about the trainer & prepare as a summary to offer feedback to the trainer to further improve the quality of trainings offered.
• Take participation in trade shows, exhibitions, networking with local associations to promote activities of the company.
• Find out prospective customers/clients and new target segment and penetrate sales in that area.
• Monitoring the situation of the market, ups and down, finding out the competitors, latest innovation of the products.
• Complete understanding about the activities and finding out how to implement market activities for different segments of the market.
• Train the fellow team about converting leads to sales through good communication, follow-ups and positive attitude.
• Must be skilled in stimulating demand for Soft Skills.
• Initiate a plan & work towards implementing the marketing program or plan to achieve the company’s desired objectives.
• Find customer needs and fill them out and present them for forward discussions.
• Looks ahead into what requirements students may have or need in future.
• Discovers and produces solutions not thought of by students but may be of relevance for their future growth.
• Works together with other departments to effectively bridge the gap & complete the work process be it in the form of; customer service, product management, marketing research areas.
• Responsible for being the liaison between the Students and the Trainer at events.
• Market research for example seeking a specific response through surveys as to how the soft skills or placements is or is not meeting the needs of the customer base.
• Recommending advertising strategies by creating pamphlets, fliers, banners, etc.
• Take part in the pricing of the Soft Skills development workshops.
• Develop Training plan & delivery of services, to students putting it innovatively & thinking out of the box.
• Maintaining confidentiality when discussing about internal processes or systems, or diplomatically tackling situations, when competitors are checking about any information.
• Highly motivated, maintaining high morale and look smart at all times.
