SMART PLANT INTOOLS DESIGNER for Qatar

VAM SYSTEMS currently looking for SMART PLANT INTOOLS DESIGNER for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Nature of work:

Instrument Drawings available in various formats (AutoCAD, Excel, Raster Images etc…) will be standardized into INTOOLS format with instrument data stored in Oracle Database. As part of the project, templates and symbol libraries will be prepared as per standard before migrating all existing different formats into INTOOLS. The scope of work is as follows-

1. Preparation and management of the instrument Index compliant with P&ID
2. review, using “In Tools” and utilizing P&ID CADWORK if necessary for capturing index information. Existing data is available in AutoCAD, Raster and Excel formats.
3. To design and review all instrumentation deliverables, documents and drawings involving. Data sheets for filed instruments, JB assignment/ cabinets interconnections wiring diagrams, Instrument Loop diagrams (ILD’s). Instrument Hookup details, typical installation drawings, I/O list for DCS and PLC’s etc available in different formats before consolidating into INTOOLS.
4. Generate Specification for Control valves and Datasheets for various field instruments.
5. Good CAD customization and CAD- Web integration skills
6. Work closely with IT and Instrument Engineers to ensure efficient and quick migration into INTOOLS
7. Good Drafting knowledge of AutoCAD and other drafting packages for input to INTOOLS.
8. To implement Project Quality/ Quality control as specified at the beginning of the project and ensure adherence to quality control procedures relating to Instrument
9. All hard copy drawings available in Raster forma to be migrated to Intelligent standardized format on INTOOLS.
10. Work on different formats and standards as specified by the project team and ensure proper integration with existing systems.
11. Ability to integrate data in excels, MS Access, Oracle or other compatible DB format into INTOOLS.
12. Knowledge of generating Reports in INTOOLS.
13. Reports building knowledge and working knowledge of Oracle SQL is an added advantage.

Scope of Services:

Designing Services

To migrate existing instrument drawings into INTOOLS and posses

1. Work closely with IT and instrument Engineers on enhancing functionality of INTOOLS.
2. Preparing templates and Symbols libraries.
3. May require regular plants visit for instrumentation related information collection and verification.
Required Qualification and Experience

1. Degree/Diploma in Instrument Engineering from reputed University.
2. Minimum 3-5years INTOOLS working experience including utilizing INTOOLS complete drafting and designing needs.
3. Programming, Report building and CAD customization skills.
4. Computer literate well acquainted with office programs as MS Word, Excel, very well versed in using AUTOCAD and electronic documentation procedures.
5. Good command of written and spoken English.
6. Excellent knowledge of INTOOLS Modules for instrument indexes, specifications process data, calculation, wiring, loop drawings, hook-ups and maintenance.
7. High awareness and knowledge on safety procedures in live plant.

Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Qatar.
